Joanne Robertson
Joanne Robertson is a Scottish artist and musician. You may know her from 'Walhalla', the EP she made with Dean Blunt, or her contributions on his albums 'The redeemer' and 'ZUSHI'. Accompanied only by her acoustic guitar, she has been making fragile folk-pop since her debut 'The Lighter' from 2008. Her fragile voice and evocative, honest lyrics wrap a comforting arm around your shoulder and take you into her enchanting world. 2020's EP 'Painting Stupid Girls' confirms the Scottish's unlikely talent. In the words of Boomkat: "Crucial, lilting folk-pop magic from quietly admired cult figure".
