Fu Manchu

Fu Manchu is an American stoner rock band, formed in Southern California in 1985, and long-associated with the Palm Desert Scene, Which in itself is a group of related bands and musicians from Palm Desert, Southern California. Their hard rock sound – often described as desert rock – contains elements of psychedelia, blues, heavy metal, punk rock, acid rock, alternative rock, and other genres. Fu manchu exists in a world of their own making, dominated by extra crunchy guitar riffs, vintage muscle cars, and a sense of '70s-style cool that's best described as driving on route 66 with your speakers at max volume.
