Patrick Adams
Patrick Adams is a New York-born producer and songwriter who made a lasting impact on dance music throughout the '70s and '80s with disco classics like Cloud One's "Atmosphere Strut" and "Disco Juice."
He was known primarily for his production, songwriting and engineering work on the New York-based Salsoul Records, Prelude Records and major record labels as well as his associations with various recording artists such as Black Ivory (1970s), Inner Life, Jocelyn Brown, Loleatta Holloway, Leroy Burgess and bands (The Universal Robot Band, Logg and Musique).
In addition, Adams worked with rap, hip-hop/R&B and dance/club acts such as Coolio, Cathy Dennis, Keith Sweat, Teddy Riley, R. Kelly, Eric B. & Rakim, Salt-N-Pepa, Shades of Love and together with Gregory Carmichael at the studio-based disco unit Bumblebee Unlimited, the producer of Lady bug in 1978.
