Raymond Scott
Raymond Scott was an American composer, band leader, pianist, record producer, and inventor of electronic instruments. In his early musical years after graduating at a local university he put together a jazz-quintet (they were actually with six but he thought quintet sounded better) that eventually turned into a big band. After that he invested some time on the side in trying to make some money off commercial & cartoon jingles. Although Scott never scored cartoon soundtracks, his music is familiar to millions because Carl Stalling adapted it in over 120 Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, and other Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons.
