Thee Sacred Souls

The southern California trio Thee Sacred Souls is the latest sensation on our favorite funk and soul label Daptone Records. In 2019, during one of their first concerts ever, they were spotted by Bosco Mann, founder of Daptone, who immediately offered them a record deal and suggested they produce their debut album. The music is a mix of sweet, graceful '60s soul and raw, groovy '70s R&B. With their compelling melodies, the solid rhythm section with Alex Garcia on drums and bassist Sal Salmano and the sweet-voiced falsetto voice of singer Josh Lane, you'll feel like you're on a sultry summer evening on a San Diego beach.
