Prepare yourself for a sonic voyage like no other with Caspa's The Journey; a two-part sphenoid epic for 12".
Caspa isn't to be confused with the dubstep pioneer of the same name; this one is rather a mysterious alias of UK producer Casper Brown, who preceded the dubstep guy by releasing his debut minimal house opus 'Atmospherics' way back in 1994. Now Belgian label Pinguin Society, recirculates this rare, arctic journey with a fresh remaster and artwork.
Pinguin Society is a music collective and record label based in Brussels finding its roots in the shared love for music and records of four friends.
We’re glad to share what came to be real classic at our afterhours
“I was supposed to DJ at the event then go on to Marbella for a few more gigs...until I found out they had a studio in the basement... So I ended up staying there and messing around with ideas I had in my head and a few samples from my record box...nothing really serious...just for myself kind of thing.” - Casper Brown aka Caspa
For the second release, we revived the long out of print release from the hand of a short -or maybe never- lived alias of Casper Brown. Originally released on the UK Atmopherics label in ‘94, now back available with a fresh remaster and artwork
