The first in the Switched On series of Stereolab compilations that collect non-album tracks.

All of the tracks here were first issued in 1991, on these releases: Super-Electric (originally with a hyphen), High Expectation, The Way Will Be Opening and Contact are from the Super-Electric EP, issued by Too Pure. The Light That Will Cease To Fail, Au Grand Jour, Brittle and Au Grand Jour' are from the Super 45 EP, issued by Duophonic Super 45s. Doubt and Changer are from the Stunning Debut Album 7" single, issued by Duophonic Super 45s.
