Description

Bertrand Belin is first and foremost a voice. Serious and slow, soft and heady. A voice that refuses great effects and rises to insinuate itself into you slowly and lastingly. They are also words that man uses as precious goods, always seeking to give them as much relief and resonance as possible. It is also music that oscillates elegantly between folk and rock. This voice, these words and this music form all of his singularity. There are also collaborations, including recently a notable duet with the now cult garage group, The Liminanas.

 Persona is Bertrand Belin's sixth album. Persona is not a song from the album but brings it together, ties it together. Persona kisses. But what, but who? As always with Bertrand Belin, we glimpse solitudes, ruptures, departures, downgrades, totemic themes. Leaving more room for synths, Bertrand Belin cultivates his unique words and songwriting on this new album, of crazy richness and class.
