La Funk Mob was the project of Hubert Blanc-Franchard AKA Boombass and Philippe 'Zolar' Cerboneschi.

Ultimately La Funk Mob led to Cassius.

More Hip Hop/Downtempo flavoured, the sound of La Funk Mob helped to establish 'Le French Touch'.
