Description

Formed in 2014 by Levy Seynaeve as well as Wim Coppers and Gilles Demolder. Wiegedood quickly became a household name in the European extreme metal scene. Both of their albums, ‘De Doden Hebben Het Goed’ and ‘De Doden Hebben het Goed II’ have made waves beyond the realms of black metal.

Lengthy trips into black metal darkness, Wiegedood’s third release may just be 4 tracks long but it’s an epic journey into both the ferocity and beauty that can often be found in the genre. Wiegedood take the listener on a fiery trip into hellish locations before turning around and slamming with an icy cold blast of air.

A very satisfying record, it’s both familiar and fresh sounding, long time fans of black metal mixed with atmospherics will really enjoy De Doden Hebben Het Goed III. Wiegedood can move from intense riffs, harsh vocals and crunching percussion in an instant. It’s no surprise considering the Oathbreaker link...
