8 years after the release of the first edition of the Shtar Academy, the initiative of MOULOUD MANSOURI, a major player in the prison community and entrepreneur in the Music Industry, is finally back.
Alongside the 4 inmates, Ryan, Perkiz, Nono and Blur, we find ZKR, PLK, S.Pri Noir, Rémy, Rim’K, Hornet la Frappe, Leto, NIC, Heuss L’enfoiré, Sofiane, … all on a 21 frantic and visceral tracks that will be accompanied by a FRANCE TV SLASH documentary following the project from its genesis to its completion. The Shtar Academy project was born in 2014 at the initiative of MOULOUD MANSOURI. Upon his release from prison, he made his project a reality by organizing numerous concerts for about ten years, inviting and collaborating with renowned artists. These events, popular with prisoners and artists alike, quickly gained momentum and visibility. The Shtar Academy was born, with a simple principle: to involve prisoners in a cultural project, promoting reintegration as well as “getting them out of their daily lives”. The project took the form of an 18-track album bringing together 4 prisoners and a panel of rappers such as Nekfeu, Nemir, Tunisiano, Médine, Lino, Mister You, La Fouine, etc.
