Description

Anyone who thinks that only noise rock is made in Liège, such as by Cocaine Piss and It It Anita, is completely wrong.

Roscoe also comes from this Walloon city and makes tasteful indie pop/rock that smells of Balthazar and The National, the latter mainly because singer Pierre Dumoulin's voice is very similar to Matt Berninger's timbre. We had to wait no less than seven years for this third album.

Over time, Roscoe released several singles, but now the band finally has enough material to release an album. On Folds, Roscoe brings seven beautiful songs with a warm, broad sound palette that perfectly matches Dumoulin's voice. The band does not come up with a different sound or feeling, but more room was made for subtlety, which makes the whole sound more beautiful and colorful than before.

Each song is a catchy gem that has been well thought out, you can hear that in the rich arrangements that make each song shine. It is strange that this unique band is as good as unknown in Flanders, because these guys make really beautiful, unique songs. We could write a whole series of positive words about this beautiful long player, but that would only take up the reader's time, which you can better use to enjoy the music of this top band.
